The 2020 summertime Bailey MK newsletter

Wow! What a year so far. 2020 has not worked out quite how we thought it would due to a huge pandemic but we’ve made some great changes and we have lots of new things coming up too.

Here is our summer round-up, there’s something for everyone.

Bailey has a new look and we love it!

We love our new logo and new websites – not one, not two but three new websites!

This brings us to our first exciting announcement, the launch of ‘Bailey Lofts’. Bailey Lofts are part of the Bailey MK group and they are a team of friendly professional consultants, designers, structural engineers and builders who take care of everything that is involved in a loft conversion from the ‘start to finish’. Take a look.

Creating space to live, work and play…

Bailey Lofts take you from the design to completion of your loft conversion. Project managing, dealing with planning permissions, constructing and creating a space to live, work and play. Adding value to your property and your everyday living by extending upwards keeping things smart up top in your home. Contact us today if you are thinking about having a loft conversion, we can talk you through the process.

Autumn is just around the corner, the perfect time to have a chimney maintenance check before those chilly nights where you snuggle up in front of the fire. Do you need your chimney swept? Here is something that might light your fire, actually, it’s more likely to keep the kids quiet and happy (for a while). Take a look at our summer competition, the kids win sweets galore and you win a FREE chimney sweep! Find out more

You may wonder why we are running a competition and this links us nicely on to the topic of our new office, we’ve kept the old one too! We just need more space to fit the growing team in.

With new offices come big walls, hence the drawing competition for Bailey Stoves. We look forward to hanging up the picture of the winning entry of the drawing competition. It’s going to be tough, we’ve had some great pictures.

Who is in the new office?

We’ve moved our key office staff to lovely new desks, meet Lauren, Katy and Charlotte.

Bailey was very happy to become the sponsor for an up and coming karting champion, Marcus Littlewood and here he is outside the office with me hiding in the background. Find out about Marcus’s success and the exciting future he has ahead of him.

Bailey MK is growing! We have our job vacancies on our ‘Join our team’ page. We were looking for two new roofing apprentices, the ladies in the office were hoping for some more females to join them in our regular in-house competitions! The positions have now been filled and we will let you know how things progress.

Everyone in our Bailey team is important but we want to say a big congratulations to Daniel Coulthard and Matthew Quinn.

Daniel Coulthard won ‘Apprentice of the Year’ at the Eastern Region Training Group back in February. Read his story here.

Matt Quinn achieved his gold supervisor CSCS card level 3 supervisor in construction. Read his story here.

Well done to our apprentices Daniel Coulthard, Charlie Territt, Connor Mc Caffrey and Tom Haines for achieving their Level 2 diploma in roof slating and tiling.

Bailey MK are gold winners!

We are so proud to be gold winners!

Loft conversions – design to completion

10 considerations when planning a loft conversion

Why should you have your chimney swept?

We have a few more little surprises up our sleeves but that can wait until another time, so stay in touch and contact us if you have any questions about our services.

It’s been very strange times and we have adhered to the government guidelines, we are getting used to the new normal and have procedures and policies in place.

Stay safe and be smart up top.

All the best,

Nathan Bailey
